Students will be empowered to share their own thoughts and ideas with the world through writing! Students will learn how to organize the structure of their writing, develop content, and accurately use common writing conventions.
Understanding of mathematical concepts will be improved through building with manipulatives, solving the same problem different ways, and explaining the student's thinking! All concepts are connected to real-world scenarios.
Students will work to become acquainted with the test format, improve their test taking strategies, and strengthen their knowledge of information that will be tested.
Reading during tutoring is a shared activity that is fun! Students will practice reading comprehension skills while reading about topics of interest.
A one hour individual session with Lexi focussed on building skills and gaining confidence.
